Back in 2022 we had a vision. This was to create a business focused on building strong relationships with clients and candidates but also one which helped to shift the perception of agency workers within the construction industry. Ensuring a strong focus on value was central to the vision and has been a driver of our success to date.

Founder of GS3 Recruitment Stephen Spendley recognised the clear need for skilled construction workers across the industry and over a number of years, had established a strong reputation being able to deliver against the specific needs and at the same time, build long term partnerships.

With a goal to provide expert solutions across the recruitment and construction sectors, the team harnessed a powerful commitment to deliver value-adding support to optimise pace, service, and expertise.

For GS3, finding a place in a busy market meant doing things differently and ensuring this was ‘baked in’ to everything GS3 stands for and can deliver. From taking a unique approach to integrating and introducing clients to one-another at dedicated networking events this has helped to drive a culture around ‘we want our clients to be your clients’. The result of this has seen the realisation of GS3’s ambitious plans including the opening of two new locations in Manchester and London , to support our clients growing regional requirements.

In the first year of operation, GS3 hit the landmark £1million turnover, grew the brand, expanded the team and established relationships with over 30 clients. This period also saw the team fulfil over 1000 temporary placements, much to the delight of the growing client base.
